Heat treatment

We are proud to present one of the most modern and fully automatic heat treatment furnaces in Europe. The furnace is made especially for heating of steel, and it has a lifting capacity of 3.5 tons, and a heating capacity of maximum 1150°C. This is the only furnace in Norway that approves to Norsok 650.

The oven is tested and approved for temperatures from 580°C to 1150°C. Cooling of the material is done by lowering it into a pool containing 65 tons of water. The physical measurements of the furnace are: Height 2m. width 2,4m. and length 6m. Heating and cooling is being logged electronically, we measure the temperature in the furnace, on the material and in the pool.
