This 6" pipe is a magnificent example of weld saving. In this case, the customer has eliminated 9 cuts and 16 welds. By using induction welding you will normally eliminate 50% of the welded joints.

NIRAS has built up solid experience and competence in bending most types of materials. Bending procedures have been developed and tested for carbon steel types such as: API 5L X52(SML 360), API 5L X60(SML 415), API 5L X65(SML 450) etc. In stainless and alloy steel types we have experience with Duplex, Super Duplex, Super Austenite, Inconell, clad pipe, 6 MO, 316 L, 304 L etc. Our machines can also bend brass, copper; aluminium and titanium.
