NirasWhich pipe materials can be bent through induction? The answer is simple: All pipe material that conducts electricity can be induction bent. NIRAS has developed solid experience and competence in bending of most pipe materials, including carbon, stainless steel and alloyed steel grades.

We have tested and developed a procedure for the bending of carbon steel API 5L X52 (SML 360), API 5L X60 (SML 415), API 5L X65 (SML 450), etc. By the piping material of stainless qualities can NIRAS bend Duplex, Super Duplex , Superaustenitt, Inconell, cladpipe, 6 MO, 316 L, 304 L, etc. Pipe materials as brass, copper, aluminum and titanium can also be bent by means of induction.
